feels exotic –

Its own depth?

trying to be in charge,

as part of human conditions,
pain and suffering
have lived with us for thousands
of years now
and yet nothing is missing
at the level of heart-knowing
and life is gorgeously
divine and delicious
exactly as it is

Slowly and slowly
practice opening your
clenched hands
and let whatever you have been
holding onto drop on the floor
while you are watching with
your wide open eyes –
and be sure that whatever has fallen
from your hands has shattered beyond
repairs -
You've just released a heavy burden
that has prevented you for years
from experiencing fully
and dissolving into
your own heart-essence

A friend said that my writings encourage
her to go into the state of meditation
every time she reads it and out of curiosity,
she wanted to know if I meditate.
My answer was yes, I do meditate but
I don’t have a structured meditation
for this can be another belief system or a form
of institution. I practice presence in everything
that needs to be done –
so I remind you again –
your entire life becomes meditation
when you step out of your busy mind
for a moment and be present.
Wait for nothing. Demand nothing,
Be no one. Go nowhere.
When you are cooking, be present.
When you are walking, be present.
Feel the ground on which you are walking.
When you talk to a friend, be present.
When you eat, be present.
Feel the energy of the living
Earth in the meal you eat.
When you make love, be present.
Be lost inside that wild delight –
Don’t think about your next plans.
When you are in the shower,
Be present.
When you change a diaper
Be present.
When you are with a client ---
Be present -
When you drive,
Be present.

concentrated light

When
everyone else thought
you are a failure,
when everyone else
believed you are useless,
you continued to smile.
you did not walk away
from yourself-
you continued to hangout
with your own presence -
you did not blame anyone
you did not dislike anyone.
You fully loved and accepted
yourself as you are -
This is the radical
and true homecoming
and the ground on which
you stand is soaked
with the depth of hidden
gratitude -
It is drenched with a concentrated
light of human inner-most courage.

to feel good

We choose to be fully present and available
not to have a better experience of something
or to feel good
but to notice clearly what is already here
and allow it to be exactly
as it is.

there can be resistance

There can be
 resistance or doubt
a and even rejection
 on the
mental  level but
the organic
part of you
cannot say No
to life
because you
are life -

behind the mask you wear

If you cannot
see a friend -
don't think she/he has
abandoned you -
she/he is waiting

Listen to the rain pouring
or a bird singing -
look how a stone finds the

Where does God live?
my six year old asked me
a few days ago.
Inside us, I said to her
hands on my heart.
She started to cry.
Why are you sad?
I said.
I am only a little
girl and there is
no enough room
for God to live
inside of me. She looked
even sadder,
very little space
Is enough for God to
live in.
I reminded her.
Now
how often do you
visit your depth for
that is God’s
residential area ?
what if whatever you are
waiting for has already
been planned somewhere
inside your very depth?

A storm of love
takes over and 
you go crazy –
Don’t try to approve it
to anyone –
Accept it fully.

exploding in your interior to

The question is not how many of us
speak of love every day –
It is how fearless are you when

into the ocean filled with innocent waters?

The heart is not a cabbage.
don't let it close down on you.

are not open
to the evening moonshine,
how are you going
to be washed with

illumination?

Allow the breath of life
to flow naturally, on its own.
It does not need your help.
Don’t interrupt the music
of the universe.
Remember that
what is suppressed and kept
under control will eventually
erupt and become out of control.

There is a kind
of pregnancy we want

I saw a dream last night -
dream and vision
while i was sitting on a white rock.
by the old tree in the forest
the earth opened her mouth slowly
where my foot was resting
and spoke to me -
I was trembling with
deep passion and i could only
remember few words -
She said the time has come
for human race to gather by the sea shore -
to return to the first word that
has ever been uttered , Be the speaker

a tall grass -

it said to me -

flooding with water breakout!

It is a friend who stopped by

door of your heart –

and plants grow lavishly -
you become a meadow
where heaven and earth
arrange their wedding

There is no doubt

We are in the times where
so many people
are looking for directions
and meaning in their lives and
I often get messages from friends
Who wonder if
I am a guru or a master ----
to which I say,
I am just a smile
In the eyes of the sun,

a flute in the hands

Just turn your gaze
inside my beloved friend
and you will be dazzled,
like I am,
you will be drunk
by your own beauty.
Stop depending
on an authority figures or
a heroes for your happiness
and your safety –

This is not a true passion.
it is a voice of attachment and insecurity
and it can bring you a deep
pain any time soon -
remember there is already
more than enough pain
in the world.
a true lover is the one who comes and
shatters the windows of your house
so that you can hear birds
singing outside to the perfume
of the spring -
a true lover is the one who
gently removes the veils from
your eyes so that you can
see with a startling clarity
the eternal and timeless
beauty of your being.

on the road

We were on the road
for a while now, carrying deep hunger and
thirst on our back
until we came into an opening
that said , I am life, Enter –
We entered and dropped our weight
and dissolved forever
into the love that cannot
be reached with logic.

many birth cycles

We experience
many birth cycles in our life time.
Our first birth is the physical
One that happens inside our
mother’s womb.
The second or the third or the tenth ---
Can happen inside our own body
where you are the mother and the father
and the child in one wild force of creation.
This is a mystical birth that comes
when you are consumed by the
force of divine love, when you are
fully burnt by the sacred fire
of your heart, when you are hollow
and totally hopeless.

Love is the only medicine

For a deeply
conditioned mind
that continues to run away from itself -
reducing the essence of life
to everyday rush hour-
Love is the only medicine -

the depth of life

It is great illusion
feeling good about yourself
because you are better than
another person.
What is happening
Instead is that
you are not willing
to feel the depth of
life in its wholeness.

face of the beloved

deep within
in all of us, there
is a desire to touch
our original self and
be stunned like a drunken man-
Giving more values
in what others believe
than your own authentic song,
can make you live in a constant
state of fear and lack of self confidence -
look around you my dear companion -
the face of the beloved is shining from everywhere
disguised as faces of my brothers
and sister and the sky and
the ants --

meaningless.

If you

out there searching
for meaning -
drop anything
that is meaningless.
That will be the first
step -
Then real beauty
awakens inside you
on its own.

the eyes that do not judge

it was late in the morning.
we were crossing the street
to go to the close by park -
a sound from a tall maple tree standing
by the street scared my daughter -
Two squirrels chased each other
screaming and crushing into the tree branches
and falling to the ground together and again
climbing back to the tree --.
We did not know if that was a giggle or a song
but it was something wild and pure -
Everyone and everything in your presence
can be brutally real and honest and truly gorgeous
and immensely creative when you look at
them with the eyes that do not judge.

when you are fully prepared

when

and dangerously -
life will give you the strength
and assurance to let
go of your very last attachment.

about your problems?
Isn't it a miracle to look around
and notice that

if you could open your inner eyes

from the field of fear,
you become exhausted because
you are losing
the juice of your vitality in
a thousand unnoticed proportions -
In truth nothing in this world is yours
and nothing is mine -
even your body is not yours -
it is the raw material
of this sweet planet earth -
Leave everything else and
make a bargain with the beloved.
Your face shines from the dark skies
and your become bread and wine
for the inner-most starvation

wearing a mask

if you've been wearing
a mask for a very long time,
it is easy to mistake it with
your skin and you will be
certainly afraid to take it off
because if you take it off
you are going to look different
and people around you may
think you are a stranger
or even dangerous -
why fall in love with your
shadow when it is easy
to look at the sun directly?

is worth remembering -
what is truly natural

and it does not need a cover.

and a blind spot and endless doubt -

or authority figures

for our life and look directly
to what is happening
both inwardly and outwardly?
Lovers don’t eat honey
with a spoon –
They throw it away
and plunge into
deep honey of life.

radical letting go allows
you to grow larger and you cannot
live in your mind any more -
you can enjoy what comes
more fully -
you become a liquid
honey and break
the jar that contains you.

The only sane prescription

There is this kind man
Who comes in every morning
to read daily papers –
When he is done and ready to leave
he looked like he is going to fall on his knees
and cry bitterly.
The papers are filled with horrible
News and yet I cannot stop reading them –
He said to me one day–
Do you know why? I asked –
I don’t know exactly but I think
I am hopping to read a happy
news someday ---
yes, my dear friends, you can see
it yourself , there is indiscernible pain
in the world today and you can pick it
up from TV or papers or from
someone around you who is
in great pain.
The only sane prescription
that can heal the earth from this
insanity is to love deeply -
it is the collective awakening
of human consciousness –
and let every single atom in your
body be a divine womb that can receive
pure light and infinite compassion
and transform confusion into surrender .

ocean remains stable

Underneath the blankets
of foaming rapids and riffles
the ocean remains stable and serene.
Holiness
Is not given to only few people
who are extraordinary and special –
it is a natural quality
that sings from deep inside everyone’s ribs
who is ordinary and simple and whose life
is not congested with plans and projects,
who is fully available and willing
to come to the door of laughter
and knock without doubt
and anxiety -

precious birth

Today
start walking
on the path that takes you
to your inner whisper.
love begins when you
are patient with yourself -
Whatever you desire
Will find you when the time
is ripe-
but when you know you are
what you desire, you will faint
with sweet confusion –
each moment
the universe erupts into
precious birth –
How ready are you
to experience this birth

Whatever path
you travel
let not fear
interrupt you –
make friends with the
part of you that you've
rejected for so long.
They can cost you so much price –
People have endless desires in their life
but they don’t know what
they really want.
That is why there is
endless suffering.
Allow the light inside you
to shine on what your
heart is pulsing for.

your thinking-self

The world can tell that
success comes when you
reach a certain financial or
academic goal -
This is not true for me -
success is when you sit
on a chair or on a ground
and eat your orange with
unbroken and full presence -
You are giving away your thinking-self
to the wild wind
and surrendering to the infinite
generosity of the beloved.
That is a true achievement.

this wanting

Because
It can be sometimes truly
painful to see yourself as you are –
You close your eyes and
  want to be someone else,
someone who is perfect and may
be famous and this wanting 
other than who you are gives
you the world of dream state and deep illusion
hiding a very precious gold
inside of you -
then you will spend your entire life
searching for it somewhere else -
