It is said
that water is more
cleansing when you
drink it in your empty
stomach –
for me the sky’s lips
get closer to my heart each day –
I open the window
every morning and
drink from her
liquid fragrance –
why reject my
friend?
Flow like water
or open like a rose -
It is not a series or ordeals
that bring you pain -
It is rejecting them.
