Love Is not what you do. It is a hallmark of your true identity - It is what you are. Whether you’re aware or not every cell of your being, every inhaling and exhaling, every gaze into your own heart is deeply in love with everything. turning this earth into a holy music.

direct meeting with your heart

What you need right now is not belief, It is not breaking news It is not religion – It is not ideas about God. What you really need now is a direct meeting with your heart – uniting with the energy of life.

to split the atom

the nature of fear is to divide what cannot be divided, to split the atom - to dissect the world into good and evil, hell and heaven, high and low, black and white, Islam and Christian or Jew---- the job of the heart goes beyond this – to bring the fragments together -- to love and only to love with every hint of color in your breath -

your own depth

You don’t have to achieve anything to be happy. you are the heart out of which happiness is born, the energy that births a divine flame. You’re the powerhouse of pure existence, a mystery the entire world is trying to solve. If this pointer cannot guide you back to your own depth, If this reminder cannot inspire you, if this poem cannot turn you on, what else can?

I am closer

I am closer to you than anything you can ever imagine. If you cannot see me inside your joy, if you cannot see me inside your sorrow, if you cannot see me inside your silence --- you cannot see me even if we live in the same room.

Love can pick you up

Love can pick you up from where you’ve fallen to pieces and speak to you in the language you have not heard before. It does not ask you not to fall again. it reminds you not to be afraid of falling so that by falling you will learn how to rise the way a seed mixes with the earth and rise again from the ground.

wall around us

It is not erecting a wall around us that can heal the root of our old fear- It is rather recognizing there is fear visiting us more frequently to get our attention - It is opening our inner dimension and asking if there is anyone we've not forgiven yet. it is knowing that we’re here to love and only to love as if loving is the first thing we’ve ever experienced in our lives.

life

life can be frustrating only when you are not willing to see it the way it is.

in the beehive of of your being

When you look for something compulsively, as if your whole existence depends on it, as if it is the column that supports the roof of your life --- as if you cannot breath without it, whatever it is that you are seeking, be it material success or relationship or spiritual attainment --- it can prevent you from vibrating with your highest potential. It can be the way of who you really are. If you truly and honestly gaze inside whatever it is that you are searching for is already given to you in a very subtle way and your job is to move deeper and deeper each day until you touch the nectar in the beehive of of your being.

a chance to arise

anything in our lives that has not been accepted, any life situation that is ignored and pushed away, whatever is not given a chance to arise ---- will come back every now and then to cause us a great pain and suffering.

No more playing small

no more playing small. know that you’re the origin, the source. everything out there is the reflection of your wild and spiraling being. how do we know this? Say no word and move inside where the secret of all secrets is waiting for you patiently -

without a destination

walking without a destination, living without conclusion, that is a great act of kindness you can share with the world around you.

between you and God

If you look at my writings closely and directly, I don’t really talk about God. I talk about the wall standing between you and God.

holy flame

There are two burning human needs – the one that is constantly spoken and the one that is only whispered – the need to grow roots and survive. we become a close friend of gravity so that we stay safe on earth - then we want something beyond the physical reality– a longing to be consumed by a holy flame - polished and transformed – and we want to grow wings and fly – when the two desires unite in harmony life becomes free from conflicts, a sublime song you cannot repeat.

a trial

When a trial comes your way, the question you need to ask is not how it knew your address or why it chose you among 7 billion humans beings or who is to blame– The question you need to ask yourself is how are you going to respond to it. are you going to respond to it from a place of kindness or from a place of victimhood?

wobbly

if you are feeling a little wobbly and shaky keep moving inside of you - keep moving --- until you're fully united with the light in your own heart.

perfume of awakening

sometimes the perfume of awakening can explode into your life simply by noticing little pointers like a caterpillar turning itself into a butterfly or a ripe fruit falling from a tree and crushing into an endless freedom or simply by opening a book and reading the first two lines of a poem or just by being around a guru ----- it is your own deep quality waiting for a little reminder.

burden

i am moved by what a friend said this morning - "thank you deeply for your everyday reminders. truly your poetry have the energy to penetrate and bring me back to my heart and I feel blessed again and again. I remember who i am and yet more often I slip away from this divine sweetness and find myself in the river of confusion - i feel i am a noise behind music and a cloud covering the face of the sky. I feel am a burden to the planet earth and to everyone. what do advise me?" You're not a burden my dear friend. what you think you are is a burden. the past you carry with you is a burden. your opinion about yourself is a burden. your mistaken identity is a burden. your attachment with what comes and goes is a burden - drawing your boundaries and believing in them is a burden. give up all of these and return to your true nature. they say, knock and the door will open - the reality is there is no door- the door is an illusion the mind is created - life is a free and open hallway - just have a little courage to walk through it - no more waiting my dear friend. the ultimate state of union with life is possible right here and now.

a little flexibility

show a little flexibility, a little fluidity a little readiness today for a true melting - like a piece of bread that crumbles and turns itself into your body – like a seed that disintegrates and vanishes into the earth before it emerges as a glorious plant, like a drop of water that leaves its image behind and enters the sea --- that is what love does.

nature

Humans are the only species who run towards the next moment - the only species who struggle. nature is effortless.

servitude

there is no substitute for what you are. It cannot be purchased or sold. If you work for a company that pays you a fair amount of wage but does not allow you to be who you are – that is not an employment. it is servitude.

you stand in the middle

If you are a true lover you cannot turn away from what happens. Before anger and joy and fear arise, you stand in the middle - After anger and joy and fear arose you still stand in the middle –

your problems

When you start talking about your problems, people will surround you to share their problems with you. when you start talking about the divine within you, people will shy away from you and you can find yourself alone because most humans are afraid of looking at their own beauty.

dust on your face

The only real and lasting relationship is the one you can forge with your own heart-essence, the higher power within - Everything else is like dust on your face – it comes and goes.

your kindness

It is not how much you know, or what position you hold in the world but your kindness my dear friend, your radiance somewhere deep inside, that weaves the universe together.

brilliance

brilliance is not to have answers to all questions. it is the willingness to be comfortable with not knowing -

prose

Life continues to speak to you in poetry. Why are you trying hard to turn it into prose?

either or

why do you limit yourself to either or, inside or outside, this or that, right or left, good or bad...? your heart is the ocean that can hold everything.

the only resource

when the mind is the only resource you can turn to for help, the song deep within becomes terribly hidden and our potential for decision making becomes limited.

Live deeply

live deeply and earnestly, with every single particle in your body and let every word you utter turn into music. Let everything you see start pointing to the birthplace of truth.

I am

“I am” is the aliveness in your being – the source of life. Stay focused when you make statements like this in your daily interactions – this can change your life forever - I am confused – I am scared – I am devastated – I am sick – I am lost ---- I am ------- “I am” cannot be confused for it is the source of all clarity. It cannot be lost or found. It is cannot be devastated or diminished – it cannot be sick either for it is the ultimate medicine for all maladies. I am is a pure light within, the sweet music of awareness deep inside - listen.

beyond your person-hood

go beyond your person-hood, a time-space bound State – and move into timelessness. miracle will happen.

truth

truth is straight and simple. the one who searches for it is complicated.

the ultimate medicine

the ultimate medicine for all suffering on earth is to remember who you are - to come to a place where all of your desires are already fulfilled, where trees flower without rain and fire burns without a wood- be still the mind wants to say something the truth is - there is nothing to say.

time

time does not exist in reality. it is a socially constructed idea. so are traditions and nationalities and numbers or measurements. we can also call them social institutions or schools. the part of you that is natural does not know what they really are. If you ask a child, what time it is, she/her does not know the answer. ask your dog or a tree or the ocean what nationality it is. they don’t know what you are talking about. All of these might be used for some practical purposes as long as you interact with other human beings. but it is only when you stop taking them seriously, you can be one with nature. your higher self which is natural knows only love, poetry or music or laughter or play.

why waste your energy

why waste your energy trying to change anyone? practice embracing them the way they are – this is called pure acceptance, signature of authentic love.

the knower of all things

Have you noticed how the mind loves being promiscuous? how it chases one idea after another, one concept after another – It wants to climb every tree it passes by - It wants to know everything and every body’s name. even after grabbing everything on its way, after knowing everybody’s name and after climbing all the trees, the mind is not still satisfied because it over-looked the knower of all things. It overlooked the one in front of which everyone passes - the mind can never be happy because it over-looked the holy ground from where everything arises and to where everything returns at the end of the day.

longing

a true longing is the one that takes you away from yourself, the one that takes way your fear and gives you wings and sends you into the wilderness – you leave your house and never come back and if you come back, you are not the same anymore.

your feet are holy fire

don’t be afraid to fall in love every day. the mystery is to move beyond your mind’s limit and touch the depth of the sea – mystics and poets and painters and dancers --- have done that. this is the most innocent and the highest expression of love. your feet are holy fire forging a new path.

WAKING UP TOGETHER

cultural shift in consciousness is necessary If we want peace in this world – if we want planetary awareness to grow deeper and all separation to dissolve – Love is not an option. Love is necessary. Waking up together is necessary.
