This morning
The weatherman said it rained everywhere
and in some places the rain was
More intense than in other places.
and yet we continue to witness the expansion
of the deserts and the cracks
in the ground getting deeper.
The world is thirsty not just for rain water
nor for a day long sermons.
The world is wildly thirsty and hungry
for an inner, clear seeing that can turn
a built-up human sorrow into a daybreak.
