We are grateful

The reason we find

This journey  incredibly beautiful
Is not because we’re excited
To be famous someday -
It is not because we’re afraid to lose
Our way -
It is not because we regret the choices
We make on a daily basis -
It is because we’re grateful  there is
A ground on which we can stand  and walk –
We’re grateful for each steps
We’re able to take -
We’re grateful for the challenges
 That arise -
for friends who come
Into our lives,  show us something
profound and go -
We are very grateful because
Something deep inside knows
We’re the light we desire -
Something inside clearly knows
That we are the abundance we
Hunger for  -
That we’re here not to grieve
Not find mistakes with each other
But to hold hands, to embrace
and  dance
Together.
