Making wine

Oh, friend!
My heart has been busy lately
Making wine out of grapes
 from this meeting with YOU.

Come, beloved one! Come!
I am still here feeling
the music of your smile on my face.

The line

Beauty surrounds me every day and
I cannot see it.
a rose spreads her fragrance
and I cannot smell it.
birds sing into my ears
and I cannot hear the song
trees hold hands and dance in unison
and I cannot feel this sacredness

Radiant one
Do I need to tell you this?:
The line connecting you and I
has been temporarily broken.

Combination key

This afternoon
I was not paying attention at all.
Someone got into my mind's secret
and stole all my worries!

Out there or somewhere
There is surely someone,
who has a combination key
into my mind.

Why would you resist?

Why would you resist?
when the universe loosens her girdle to you,
when she opens her whole heart to you
when she unfurls her secrets to you
To show that you are not separate from her
so that you can feel your naturalness,
without pretending to be someone else.
why would you resist?

Silence

                                                                                                                           [For Baba]

Words, my words cannot explain your beauty, beloved one: -
I shouted at the top of my lungs and
This did not help.
I lectured about you to everyone I met
And this did not help.
I wrote beautiful poems for you  and
This did not help
I kept silent and looked at the sky
And looked at the ocean
I looked at the trees.
More importantly
I kept silence and looked inside.
And in this silence I met your eyes
I do not need any explanation now.
I do not need any words now.

Be still

You might have
Many things to say.
But for now
Return to silence
and be still.

Go beyond words and thoughts and forms.
Move deeper and further.
Inside you flows the ocean.

It matters not if you can swim or not.
A diver won't sink
If she has a grain of faith in the ocean.
Be still.
