I was on my way to a coffee shop
when I bumped into someone.
Because something looked very sleek
I woke up from what it seemed like a dream and
asked her “ who are you? Have we met before?
She looked at me without actually looking
and flashed an electric-like smile and said
“I am SERENITY. You can call me peace or happiness, if you want.
we meet everyday. In fact we have never, ever been apart.
You just never noticed, you never opened your eyes
for the most part of your life.”
At this point, it was almost impossible for me to utter a word.
I was drunk on her perfume, consumed by her ravishing beauty
And wanted to faint. My eyes were wide open on their own
Like a door whose hinges have been broken for ever
And were never closed ever since.
