A question for today -
As children we were fresh and real and very vibrant. When we become adults, we numb. What happened to us?
Answer –
Yes, a child is fully present and awake. She is also vulnerable to painful experiences. As she grows up, she wants
to survive emotionally. She wants safety and protection and so she eventually learns how to withdraw her full and undivided attention from the present moment and slowly avoids whatever life brings her. As a result her oneness with life comes to an end .
