Everyday
human beings travel
to distant place on pilgrimage
just to be closer to wholeness.
If they looked inside
Deep enough,
they could have seen
Bethlehem and Mecca
and Arunachala and
the Shrine of the Bab ---
silently flowering
deep inside
of their chests.
