Some people think
I am famous
because I have published
books of poems –
I smile and ask –
Is a flower famous
because it is deeply
In love with life?
The earth continues
to erupt with honey
and milk -
is she famous?
Are you famous
because whatever
happens around you
as no authority to
reduce you to fear?
