Someone I’ve known
Not long ago said to me that
He is being consumed with a feeling
of worthlessness and guilt and that
the world can do better without him.
I said to him: -
Look how centipedes and earthworms
Insulate the ground in cold seasons,
how the keys on a piano join to make
A great music.
Imagine what you are capable
Of doing. The warmth inside you, if turned on,
Can melt the entire iceberg.
Look how a mint can naturally weave
perfume out of Sunlight, waters and soil.
