You wanted to obey your parents So they can be proud of you – you wanted to be a good citizen and a successful man in the eyes of the world – and you walked away from your innocence, from the grace you have known with all of your heart – you run away from your authenticity and denied your true indentity for survival – survival came first and your heart second - you became a good diplomat busy drawing boundaries and negotiating prices and counting profits we’re beyond survival my friend we’re the orchard that gives new fruits every day we are the sky the releases rain when needed - look how the splendor of the full moon can make us empty! So much has been said already – If we use language It can hide our true faces, the face that holds millions of other faces inside - silence is one of the many ways I can make this poem short – be still come back to your heart now.

how to be silent

if you want to know where the river is going, learn how to be silent. Everything blossoms on its own and the miracle is already within - there is a poem and music and light and garden in your heart- Look inside.

stop trying

stop trying. I mean all kinds of trying. Stop trying to love someone or yourself. Stop trying to a be good person. Stop trying to make someone happy. Know who you are, not intellectually but with all of your being. Then all kinds of trying with fall away and life will guide you where you need to be. When I say know who you are, don't tell me, you will try. Stop trying dear one. Every body is busy trying to do something, Just be. Have you ever seen a bird trying to sing? Singing happens naturally.

your destination

relax now my dear - why rush into the future? what if this very moment is your destination?

grace of this moment

don’t wish for better days to come – trust what is already here is sublime and immaculate. nothing can ever be better than the grace of this moment.

What do you do when you feel lonely? May be you go to a party or to the mall or make new friends with human beings or dogs or travel or watch movies– all these are good ideas – but they are just ideas - they might fix your loneliness for a while but that is only for a while – they are subtle ways of hiding from yourself - You deserve something real - to be in touch with the eternal love in your own heart and realize you are already one with everything.

ultimate healer

to love means to be present – to be fully present - every single cells in your body sings with presence – your eyes radiate with presence – your feet dance with presence - all the urges to be someone, to do something or to go somewhere disappear – you will be content with what is right here - you still may experience some pain here and there but you don’t really care because you don’t focus on pain. You focus on aliveness and the wholeness underneath it and the pain becomes too small to worry about. When you listen to love’s music in your heart you will get the courage to be true to yourself because love is true to Itself. Love knows Itself deeply and whatever you touch from this space heals because love is the ultimate healer.

it is only a belief

It is only a belief to be born - to grow up - to change - and to die – religions told us – cultures told us people we met and have not yet met told us and we believed – we believed we are mortals. If you are moving through upheavals and structures around you come down crashing , it is because life is sending a text message to show you that all structures are shaky and unstable. Look deep inside and notice that there is a ground that is stable and calm. That ground is your true nature. It has no form or name. It has no birth or death. It is pure aliveness which is fully awake even when your body and mind are in deep sleep. It is a resting ground that never rests.
